Unique Language Perspective
Some of the stories are my from my own experiences committing spectacular language blunders throughout South America. The majority, however, are generously told to me by friends, colleagues and even total strangers, kind enough to share their hilarious cultural gaffes caused by saying the wrong thing.
Self-Published Author
Like so many authors nowadays, I chose to go the self-publishing route. It lets me retain control over my work and I receive higher margins from my book sales. For me, it was a no-brainer. It's more work but I highly recommend it.
